22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning [and every New Year!]; great is your faithfulness. 24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”

Financial Update
We give thanks to God for your generosity, and commitment to the ministry of the church, as you have responded to the financial need through the year and over the last month.
As of December 29, we still need approximately $14,000 to cover our remaining financial commitments.
If you have not had a chance to respond to this need over the last few weeks, and have been planning to do that, we invite you to prayerfully consider what you are able to give before the end of the year. We trust that God will provide so we can fully meet our commitments for 2022.
Cheques can be placed in one of two mailboxes at Dawn Zehr’s home. E-transfers or questions about donating can be sent to treasurer@ezmennonite.ca.
Donations received on or before December 31, 2022 are eligible for a 2022 receipt for income tax purposes. Thank you for your partnership in the ministry of the church!
Junior Christian Education Team (JCET) needs teachers January-June! Sign-up sheet will be at church January 8th or call anyone on the team (Jess Yantzi, Holly Barron, Erin Yantzi or Sue Martin) for dates that work for you! Thanks for helping in faith formation to our children!
The Health Ministry Team wants to thank those who have been following the Reverse Advent Calendar of Giving. Collected food items to be donated to the Wilmot Family Resource Centre. (as noted in the New Health Ministry Newsletter)
You are welcome to bring these items to Church between Christmas Eve and into the New Year. Please leave them in the area by the Mailboxes and the Health Ministry Team will distribute. Even if you haven’t followed the Advent Calendar all month you are welcome to bring canned or boxed food items to be added to our donation.
Reminder to also complete your Newsletter Survey and return to the Parish Nurse or a Health Team member’s mailbox.
