Junior High Youth Ministry (Grades 6–8)
J Walkers is a welcoming community where junior high students are encouraged to take their next steps in following Jesus.
The name “Walkers” is inspired by the Bible’s repeated invitation to walk with Christ—living each day in faith, truth, and love. It’s also a creative nod to the idea of being willing to walk a different path than the world around us. As followers of Jesus, we choose courage over comfort, truth over popularity, and faith over fear.
At this stage of life, students are discovering who they are and making important decisions about the future.J Walkers exists to help them build a strong foundation in God’s Word, develop meaningful friendships, ask honest questions, and grow into confident disciples of Jesus.
Junior High Youth Ministry provides a welcoming space for youth to build friendships, grow in faith, and enjoy time together through fun and meaningful fellowship.
The group typically meets for a variety of fellowship activities. Locations and activities vary throughout the year, offering something different for youth to look forward to each time.
