EZMC Announcements
Come see the running of the cows as we open the doors for our dairy cows to pasture for the first time this spring. We’d love for you to see where we live and celebrate spring with us! An invitation to all ladies, all ages–If you would like to be part of a women’s group to sing two songs on Mother’s Day, please sign up on the back bulletin board. I’m hoping to have only one practice on Monday, May 6 at 7:00, and then again on the Sunday morning of May 12. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest has the privilege to respond to a special email from office@ezmennonite.ca coming sometime on or after April 28th. The email will have a link saying, (“Fill out in Google Forms”). In this Google form we are collecting some information that the Gifts Discernment Committee (and others) will use as they call people to service in the life of the church. There is a place for all of you to serve!
If you do not have access to a computer or someone to help you with this, you may pick up a paper copy under the mailboxes next Sunday.
Mindanao: Malipayon Peace Hub
On Sunday April 14, we had witness workers Dann and Joji Pantoja from the Philippines join us during Adult Sunday School class. They shared about the Malipayon Peace Hub Project and the amount they need to raise to meet the fundraising goal of $230,000. (As of mid-March there is $63,000+ to raise to meet their goal.) To donate to this project, please use: 1) this donation link https://www.mennonitechurch.ca/philippines-transition 2) mail a cheque to Mennonite Church Canada, 600 Shaftsbury Blvd., Winnipeg, MB, R3P 0M4, OR 3) designated offering no later than Sunday April 28, 2024.
Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp is once again offering two weeks of camp for Low Income single moms and their children (between ages 5 to 12) this summer.
For any single parent families in our congregation that are interested in this opportunity, please contact your pastors or any member of the Care Team. If you are aware of single parents in our community who could benefit from this, please also contact us.

Donation Pick Up Service in Waterloo Region and Surrounding Communities
Introducing our new service, MCC Picks Up! In five easy steps, you can arrange for your soft and hard goods donations (excluding furniture) to be picked up at your doorstep. Donations picked up through the project will be dropped off at the local MCC Thrift Shops in Kitchener, New Hamburg and Elmira. Please note that this is separate from furniture pick-up, which will continue at the shop level in both New Hamburg and Kitchener.
