Do your physical fitness routines need some summer renewal?
The Health Ministry Team, in partnership with Tracey Kropf, invites you to join Walking Club this summer—a welcoming opportunity to care for your body, strengthen your faith, and connect with others in community.
Summer often brings vacations and many opportunities to stay active. Whether you’re maintaining your routine or looking for a fresh start, we’d love to have you join us. New participants are always welcome!
Schedule:
Mondays (Bi-weekly)
7:00–8:00 p.m.
Locations:
Walks will take place throughout Tavistock and New Hamburg, including neighbourhood routes and local hiking trails.
What to Expect
* A brisk 45–60 minute walk designed to elevate your heart rate.
* Walk alongside others at a pace that matches your fitness level.
* A Christ-centred atmosphere
* An opportunity to support physical fitness, spiritual wellness, and meaningful relationships through regular connection.
Did You Know?
Jesus and His disciples often travelled on foot as they served others. Walking together reminds us that our journey of faith is one we share with one another.
Who Can Attend?
Walking Club is open to:
* Women and men
* Older youth
* Anyone of any fitness level who has been medically cleared for physical activity
What to Bring
* Comfortable walking shoes
* Water bottle
* Weather-appropriate clothing
Additional Information
Walking Club is led by Tracey Kropf and is offered as a volunteer-led ministry.
There is no cost and no registration required.
We look forward to growing stronger together—in both body and faith—through fellowship, movement, and time spent enjoying God’s creation.
