Event Description
East Zorra Mennonite Church will be leading Sunday afternoon worship services at peopleCare Tavistock and The Maples Home for Seniors.
Each service lasts approximately 30 minutes and includes Scripture readings, a poem or short story, and singing familiar hymns together. Following each service, volunteers are encouraged to spend time greeting residents, sharing conversations, and offering fellowship and encouragement.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with seniors in our community, share God’s love, and brighten someone’s afternoon.
Volunteer Opportunities
Members of the congregation are warmly invited to participate. The total time commitment is no more than two hours, and everyone is welcome to help!
