East Zorra Mennonite Church
The Health Ministry Team is hosting our next Big Cook Event! Join us for an evening of cooking, connecting, and serving together as we prepare freezer meals that will be ready to share with individuals and families in our congregation during times of illness, recovery, the arrival of a new baby, or other times of need.
On the Menu
Cheesy Ham & Scalloped Potatoes with Mixed Vegetables
We anticipate needing approximately 8 volunteers to help prepare and package the meals. There are a variety of jobs, so you don’t need to be an experienced cook to lend a hand! Tasks will include chopping and shredding, stovetop duties, assembling meals, and packaging them for the freezer.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
Please see the sign-up sheet on the Health Ministry Bulletin Board to volunteer. If you have any questions, connect with Heidi.
Want to make it at home?
After the Big Cook, be sure to check out the E-Z Recipes Rack for the complete recipe and all the details so you can make this meal for your own family, too.
Many hands make a big difference. 💚
Together, we’re filling the freezer and sharing God’s love through practical acts of care.
