SUMMARY:Study-Living as Exiles
DESCRIPTION:Listening to Scripture: 1 Peter\n\nLiving as Exiles\n\nDo you e
ver feel like a stranger in your own culture—like your convictions put y
ou out of step with the world around you? If so\, you’re in good company
 .\n\nThis fall\, we are listening to 1 Peter\, a letter written to those f
acing hostility for their faith. Peter reminds them not to fight back or d
isappear\, but to remember who they are: adopted into God’s family\, cit
izens of a Kingdom that doesn’t waver\, and people whose suffering can b
ecome a refining fire rather than a defeat.\n\nTogether\, we’ll explore
what it means to:\n\n• Live as “exiles and wanderers” whose true hom
e is with God\n• Meet hostility with love\, honor\, and generosity inste
ad of retaliation\n• Root our hope not in our circumstances\, but in the
resurrection of Jesus and His promised return\n\nWhether you’re wrestli
ng with cultural pressure\, personal hardship\, or simply want to grow dee
per in God’s Word\, this study offers real encouragement for real life.\
