Friday January 15th Announcement Sheet from EZMC Office
Our usual Annual Meeting time is coming up quickly. While we don’t know yet what this will look like and exact timing, we fully expect it will be virtual, and hope to have it in the first couple months of 2021. In preparation, please submit your annual reports to Lisa by January 10 2021. 2020 has been a year like no other. Despite the fact we had to pause some of our church programs, many areas of ministry continued. Please report as it makes sense for your specific area. If you have questions, reach out to your lay minister for guidance. Please send reports to office@ezmennonite.ca or call Lisa at 519-655-6824 to arrange another way to submit your report. Thank you!

Prioritize UN Declaration Legislation
You’re invited to join MCC in supporting the Government of Canada’s legislation around the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), being tabled in Parliament this December. MCC believes that passing a legislative framework to implement UNDRIP is an excellent step toward ensuring the human rights of Indigenous Peoples are respected and honoured in Canada. If you agree, we invite you to contact Minister of Justice David Lametti and your MP to urge them to fulfill the government’s commitment to reconciliation by making every effort to bring this legislation to Royal Assent. Visit mcccanada.ca/take-action to use MCC’s convenient letter-writing tool to amplify the calls of Indigenous neighbours.
