Student Aid Applications:
While fall continues to remain a bit uncertain for our students, EZMC remains committed to supporting individuals who consider Christian nurture and leadership development to be part of their education. Student aid applications are due June 30 for the 2021/2022 school year (Sept 2021 – Aug 2022). Please note that this year no funds will be sent until camps can confirm their programming depending on Covid-19 restrictions in place. Mennonite Disaster Service is looking for volunteers. MDS is partnering with Menno Homes on a project to provide affordable housing to a low income family by fixing up a home in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. As COVID restrictions loosen MDS will be looking for local day volunteers to assist with this project. The work includes exterior siding, drywalling, painting, flooring, etc. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Bruce Weber at 519-577-8521.

Monday June 21st at 8 p.m. Screening: Butterfly Monument
The short film, Butterfly Monument, documents the creation of a public memorial dedicated to the late Shannen Koostachin, a young Cree education advocate from Attawapiskat First Nation. This important film is especially relevant during Indigenous History month. Butterfly Monument works to counter the discriminatory ideas of Indigenous persons and offers a story of resilience and diversity, and humanity.
